The consultation is approximately an hour long and an opportunity for you to reflect upon your current symptoms and their impact upon you as well as review your health history. From my part it is a non judgemental, thorough and confidential conversation to best understand your current symptoms and experience that has brought you to choose herbal support. A process of collecting as much information and facts about you and your previous physical, mental and emotional experiences to create a supportive health plan that best suits your needs and lifestyle. Before the consultation, I will ask you to provide me information on any diagnosis you may have received, current medications and supplements that you may take by email or telephone.  We will then arrange an appointment either in person at clinic or by zoom or skype as appropriate. Depending upon the nature of your enquiry, I may need to carry out a physical clinical examination. With your consent I can liaise and work with your G.P. or other health professionals if this is beneficial to progressing you back to a balanced health state. Following the consultation, I will research and create a personalised plan for you along with a herbal prescription and appropriate nutritional and lifestyle recommendations. Usually a shorter, follow up appointment is required which will take place between 2-6 weeks after the intial consultation. This allows us to review how you are progressing and make any necessary adaptations to your plan.
